In April of 2007, a small group of concerned Christians held a meeting at the Community Center in Fairfield Glade to explore the need for a WELS Church in the Crossville area. The meeting was conducted by Pastor Edward Schuppe, Mission Counselor for the South Atlantic and Southeastern Wisconsin Districts who explained the process and purpose of becoming a mission church of the WELS. Pastor Robert Krueger of Shepherd of the Hills, Knoxville, Tennessee was present at the meeting and agreed to serve as Pastor on a non-interference basis with his church. From those first and subsequent meetings, with God’s help and guidance, we began our Worship Services in June at a “borrowed” Presbyterian Church in the Glade.
Recognizing that our outreach potential was limited in the Fairfield Glade area, in January of 2008, we moved into our new leased facility in Crossville and with the hard work and generous support of our members, we transformed this empty and barren space into a true Christian Church, a gathering place for Worship and Christian Fellowship.

From this, our new church home, centrally located in the Maple Grove Plaza on Genesis Road, we are able to reach out to the lost and un-churched of our area and provide a place of comfort to all who thirst for the living water of God’s Holy Word.
As we started and as we continue our work in the City of Crossville and the surrounding area, we invite all who are seeking a true Bible teaching Lutheran Church to come and hear our message of Grace and Salvation as given to us in the Truth of God’s Word.
